This blogs serves as the professional portfolio of Kirsten Kumar.

An Austin resident of eight years, Kirsten is a first-year student at the University of Texas in Austin. She currently pursues a major in Journalism, as well as a minor in Business. Her passion resides primarily in print journalism, but she wishes to explore photojournalism as well. Journalism consumes most of her time and interest, but when she is not writing, she is exploring Austin's restaurants and music scene. Someday, she hopes to write for the Life and Arts section of a major publication. At the moment, Kirsten works as an editor for the online publication Texas Spoon University. This summer, she will work as a writer for Waterways Magazine.
